Arriving
To ensure that the tattoo appointment runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Arriving early is acceptable, but please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Similarly, arriving more than 10-15 minutes late may cause inconvenience to the artist and other clients, and may result in the forfeiture of your deposit. In such a situation, the artist may request you to reschedule the appointment for a different date that suits both parties.
Payment
Kindly ensure that you have cash readily available when you arrive for your tattoo appointment, as payment is always expected at the end of your session. Failure to have cash ready at the end of your session will incur an additional fee of $100, to compensate for the time spent waiting for you to obtain cash. It's important to come prepared to avoid inconvenience. Please note that I cannot accept payments via PayPal or credit card at the end of the session. While I accept PayPal and Venmo as a means of receiving deposits, I do not accept full payment through these methods. All payments are final and non-refundable, without any exceptions.
Cleanliness
To ensure a clean and hygienic tattooing environment, we kindly request that you follow common hygiene practices when arriving for your appointment. Please take into consideration the area of your body that will be tattooed and ensure that you are groomed and have showered before your appointment. This will help to minimize the risk of any potential infections or complications during and after the tattooing process.
Dress Code
To ensure a comfortable and efficient tattooing experience, it is crucial to wear clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed. You can bring clothing items like robes, bikinis, shorts, or underwear in addition to the clothes you wear when you arrive at the shop. These clothing items will allow the tattoo artist to access the area without causing any inconvenience or discomfort, thus allowing them to perform their work effectively.
Food
To ensure a successful and comfortable tattooing experience, we kindly request that you avoid consuming alcohol for 24-48 hours before your appointment, as it may cause excessive bleeding. Additionally, consuming caffeine without eating can make your body feel jittery and may impact your ability to sit still during the appointment. If possible, we recommend avoiding these substances to ensure the best outcome. During the appointment, you are welcome to enjoy the snacks and drinks that we have provided. However, if you have any specific preferences or requirements, please feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy during longer appointments. We encourage you to stay energized by eating when needed and drinking plenty of water before, during, and after your appointment.
Parking
Metered parking is available on the street, and on the side of the building with the ballet mural, there is a free parking lot. Additionally, parking is available behind the Oak building. Please avoid parking in the lot across the street, as this area is reserved for their employees and guests, and your vehicle may be subject to towing. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable tattooing experience.
Guests
As a small location, we kindly request that you bring only one adult guest to your appointment to ensure that we can accommodate you to the best of our abilities. While we appreciate the presence of children, please note that we are not equipped to have them in the studio during your tattoo session. We kindly request that you make childcare arrangements before arriving for your appointment. Additional guests may be requested to wait in the lobby to ensure proper space in the tattooing room. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Personal Items
When you come in for your tattoo appointment, we kindly request that you help us maintain a clean and hygienic workspace by refraining from placing any items on the tattoo tray or any other tattoo equipment. The tattoo tray and equipment are essential tools in the tattooing process, and we need to keep them sterile and free from any unnecessary contaminants to ensure your safety and the quality of your tattoo. Additionally, we have designated areas for your personal belongings to be stored during your appointment to prevent them from getting in the way or accidentally causing damage to the equipment. Your cooperation with this request will help us maintain a safe and professional environment for both you and our tattoo artists.
